200,000 tons/year of Zirconium Titanium Mining Project of Haiyu(Mozambique) Mining Co., Lda.
Haiyu (Mozambique) Mining Co., Lda. commenced the full-scale development and construction of its mining rights in 2010, specifically the zircon-ilmenite placer mining and processing project at Mining Area 4776 in Angoche District, Nampula Province, Mozambique. The project has been approved for establishment by the Hainan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, designated as a key project of the Hainan Provincial Government, and has obtained support from the Special Fund for Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation of the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, as well as subsidies from the Special Fund for Risk Exploration of Overseas Mineral Resources of the Hainan Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Planning. In addition, customs and commodity inspection authorities have provided convenient clearance support for the project.
With a total investment of 191 million yuan, the project has an annual mineral mining capacity of approximately 200,000 tons. Since its commissioning, the project has maintained normal production and operation, and its products are in short supply.
