Kyanite

1、Appearance: Light gray to blue-gray powder with typical columnar or lamellar crystal morphology and extremely high refractoriness (above 1850°C).

2、Main Applications:

(1) High-grade Refractories: A key raw material for producing monolithic refractories, refractory bricks, blast furnace linings and continuous casting refractories, which can significantly improve the high-temperature strength and thermal shock resistance of refractory products.

(2) Ceramics and Glass: Used in the manufacture of high-quality ceramic tiles, ceramic insulators and special glass to enhance mechanical strength and high-temperature resistance.

(3) Foundry Materials: As foundry sand, it can improve the precision and surface quality of castings and reduce casting defects.
